I wrote several feature stories for The Jewish Journal, a Los Angeles-based weekly magaine, when I worked there in 2015. This story is about Asher Vollmer, a popular video game designer who created the popular mobile game "Threes," and how he is struggling with the pressures of fame and the high expectations for his upcoming work. While working as a reporter in 2014 for New Europe, a weekly newspaper based in Brussels, I covered daily events of the European Union and European governments. I wrote a business profile as part of the Nonprofit Spotlight for the Columbia Business Times in 2014. The profile features Giving Gardens, an arm of a Columbia, Missouri subcontractor which hired people with disabilities to work in an on-site greenhouse.
